I'm Dextruis, formally known as 'Mr. Ben Mason'.
So, you want to know more about me, do you? Or, perhaps you're just wasting your time being on my page, because there's nothing of interest here but amateur-ish animations that are quite likely to receive some sort of harsh critisism.
Anyway; I'm Ben, and I'm a small-time animator. I'm not brilliant - nor do I claim to be, but, I am learning as I go, improving all the while. Yes, people are going to be one hundred times better than me, but what's the point in a comments section if people aren't allowed to give constructive critisism?
I don't upload feature-length animation, only random shorts which I deem appropriate for production to the public.
Anyway, I attend college, and I am a full-time student studying IT and Web Design Media. I have just finished my third year, and will be starting my forth at University, soon.
I absolutely adore Madness Combat, and I'm a long-time fan. Yes, people will probably say, "the series died a long time ago", but who cares? I'm here to express my skill, not listen to a person's opinion on a web series that perhaps has overstayed its welcome (though in my opinion, I think it'll be popular for years to come).

Hello Mr. Ben Mason, nice to meet you and welcome to Newgrounds :)
I saw your test (that is still under judgement) and I have to say you're good at animating, you have cool skills and decent smoothness on your animation, but you should look out for details on your animation like the two hands that kept on the guns after switched/dropped.
Other thing, if possible don't upload tests on portal, I understand you're just initiating your "career" (sorry I didn't remember of the right word :P) here on Newgrounds and that posting your tests on the Portal helps to people come to your page but the Portal has lots of tests, not finished or just bad animations such as the so original "my first animation" submissions, and, you know, they're shouldn't be there.
So, here's what we do: We get on our Dumping Grounds (the second square at the top of the screen with a opened box and an white arrow), we upload our .swf file, then when you reach the page with the preview, you copy the link and put it on your newspost.
If you want you can use it as a storage too, but you have to keep in mind you shouldn't give the link of the private file to people you don't want to have the file.

Thanks very much for your kinds words, I appreciate it!
I completely agree with the whole 'hands' thing, I did notice that once I finished the animation. I shall, in fact, be replacing this animation with an updated version, fixing these issues. Furthermore, I noticed the bullet casing disappeared on the final scene.
I understand the whole 'test' dumping grounds, too. I shall definitely make sure to keep that in mind in the future. :)
Again, thank you for the feedback; I shall be uploading some more animations in the future, and these won't be tests!
